The student life events have been fun and exciting. The off-campus events were very well organized and a great experience overall. On-campus events such as Prize Patrol are always a great surprise and fun to take part in. The Student life has been doing a great job in bringing together students through captivating and enjoyable activities.

"I really enjoy Student life activities; they have transformed my academic journey by providing an escape from my daily routine and involving me in engaging experiences. I had the opportunity to connect with new people, share new experiences with my friends, and create memories from my PhD journey. Among all the activities, the desert trips have been fun and special as they bring me closer to the Saudi culture. I encourage all students to be part of these activities. Trust me, you won't regret it!"

SPB activities are great ways to have fun on campus and meet new people. I enjoyed quite a lot the off-campus trips, prize patrols and spending time with friends. I highly recommend SPB to anyone who wants to try different things and have fun.

"The activities organized by the SPB group at KAUST were amazing and so much fun. I had a great time participating in them. I made new friends and got to know people from different backgrounds. The events were well-planned and created lasting memories. The SPB group made everyone feel welcome and included. I'm grateful for the wonderful experiences and friendships I gained through their activities."

"I would like to express my heartiest gratitude to the SPB team. I believe they have made significant strides in organizing events where the students' interests have been put first. I managed to attend nearly all the events and I can say without a doubt that they are some of the best and most enjoyable events I have come across throughout my time at KAUST."
Chemical Engineering (PhD)
"The SPB has been quite influential on the life of the students so far. As a former student who has been involved in student engagement, I would like to say that the SPB has brought a positive change to the events programming at KAUST. Students now look forward to events organized by the team, especially those that foster community building. Going for the paintball in Jeddah allowed me to team up with students I didn’t know. That highlighted a platform for team building, which is a great initiative."

"Being a Resident Assistant provides an unique opportunity to interact with the many different cultures at KAUST. Additionally, you can help residents in your care with administrative processes or advise them on activities they can do at KAUST in their free time."

"The Student Development Center workshops such as leadership, critical thinking, coaching and many more gave me a different mindset. This helped me personally and in my PhD journey face difficulties and think rationally about different circumstances and in many situations."

"KAUST is science, KAUST is research, KAUST is TALENT acquisition! The office of Student Career Development is one of my main reasons to join KAUST. It is not only that I am satisfied but also impressed and getting much more of what I expected from their services!"
