Gerard McLaren, English Language Instructor

Although Gerard McLaren is originally from the UK, he has spent all of his professional teaching career outside his home country: in Germany, Poland and now Saudi Arabia. As a result, Gerard is multilingual, speaking four European languages fluently.

Kamran Amin, English Language Instructor

Kamran Amin joined KAUST in December 2022 and has been working within the English Language teaching profession for over 20 years. In addition to English Language teaching, he also has expertise in the field of biological sciences. Kamran is multilingual, speaking five languages fluently. This enhances his ability to connect effectively with a diverse cohort of learners.

Andrew Cornforth, English Language Program Manager

Andrew Cornforth joined KAUST in 2021 and has had almost 30 years experience in the English Language teaching profession. He has previously taught, lectured and managed language education programs at college and university institutions in the UK, Asia and the Middle East - including in Saudi Arabia.
