Dr. Rand Qoj

Dr. Rand Qoj

Languages: English and Arabic Dr. Rand Qoj is a Consultant in Family Medicine at KAUST Health and leads the Family Medicine Department. She works closely with mental health services and other clinical teams to support patient well-being and safe, coordinated care. Dr. Qoj brings experience from Iraq, the United Kingdom, and Saudi Arabia to her practice.

Andrea Devlin's PhD and post-doc research has contributed to ten peer-reviewed journal publications in cancer, molecular biology, and angiogenesis in the developing retina.

Although Gerard McLaren is originally from the UK, he has spent all of his professional teaching career outside his home country: in Germany, Poland and now Saudi Arabia. As a result, Gerard is multilingual, speaking four European languages fluently.

Kamran Amin joined KAUST in December 2022 and has been working within the English Language teaching profession for over 20 years. In addition to English Language teaching, he also has expertise in the field of biological sciences. Kamran is multilingual, speaking five languages fluently. This enhances his ability to connect effectively with a diverse cohort of learners.

Andrew Cornforth joined KAUST in 2021 and has had almost 30 years experience in the English Language teaching profession. He has previously taught, lectured and managed language education programs at college and university institutions in the UK, Asia and the Middle East - including in Saudi Arabia.
